Global Good Agricultural Practices (Global GAP)

Global GAP is the internationally recognized standard for farm protection. The goal is safe and sustainable agriculture production to benefit farmers, retailers and consumers throughout the world.

Global GAP certification covers:

    • Food safety and traceability
    • Environment (including biodiversity)
    • Workers’ health, safety and welfare
    • Animal welfare
    • Integrated Crop Management (ICM)
    • Integrated Pest Control (IPC)
    • Quality Management System (QMS)
    • Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)

In addition to the above, the Global GAP standard demands greater efficiency in production. It improves business performance and reduces waste of vital resources. It also requires a general approach to farming that builds in best practices for generations to come.

Gunn Agri Partners will undertake Global GAP operational audits on a regular basis. These audits are available to investors of those operations.
